Monday, giugno 18th, 2012

At a distance of 2 GGDBologna year he published his first e-book

“Who's Afraid of the network? through collaboration with Simplicissimus Book Farm.

The work of editing we have taken so long  Stress does not cost us a few valuable contributors to our, but our work has been largely offset.

The network is scary, more than what you think and most of what you can see; fear of the network is widespread and has many faces and many are the areas where winds.

At the same time, especially in this period, afraid of the earthquake:  the strength of the earthquake is disruptive, and unleashes a series of cascading effects.

We thus decided to donate the net proceeds from the sale of our ebook earthquake victims.

Thus it seems  to contribute to exorcise the fear of the network, means by which they are composed of the largest network of solidarity around the victims of the earthquake, both in the case of L'Aquila earthquake in the case of Emilia Romagna.

Inside “Who's Afraid of the network?” you will find the documents presented and discussed during the Barcamp also contained new works from our speakers and interviews conteneti interesting reflections on.

Saturday 15 October 2011 will always be infamous for the events in Rome, in what was to be a day of festive and honest expression of the principles and intent.
For us girls technological, Saturday 15 October will also mark something else: a day when the team he led for the first time an event, managing it along with another group and a media partener.
Last Saturday the team Girl Geek Dinners Bologna has unraveled a thousand adventures to complete an event that was very important.

So, while Cecilia Stock Exchange was to collect subscriptions for Digital literacy classes for expectant mothers, Julia finished preparing the slides for his workshops, Tonia accessions collected in the workshops of the day, doing live blogging, Daniela handled the case before moving to the workshop room, and Linda did the honors of the house and extricated from a variety of last-minute hitch.

The day’ run fast and smooth, more than expected.

Among the things that gave us more satisfaction: people who have stopped listening to the interventions because they passed by’ and then you are with the workshops and who have remained throughout the day.

What we all felt was a strong, strong empathy between people who wanted to share their experience of life lived, without trying to teach, but with the only aim to share and motivate, lend a hand, advice. E’ That's how we saw it coming friends Paul and Naomi always someone new to Milan (dealing with an alarm 5) to make possible the livestreaming with Marco that garrisoned the area as early as the night before.

We have seen that before the speech friends helped us pack moo cards in order to block the emergence of self-produced at.
Our speakers have network, both with their stories through the exchange of contacts, with proposals for new initiatives.
The hall of workshops and’ was always full, until the last minute, of people interested in taking notes and did a lot of questions.

The people to thank this time there are so many:
Workshops Minganti and The Style of Bologna, Tommaso Gavioli in particular that we hosted in the project Minganti Tech.
The Province of Bologna, who has sponsored and supported by the press office.
Rigeneriamoci that has offered live streaming.
All our speakers, which will post slides and short videos on our channel.
Before the Rain for delicious sandwiches :)
Silvia Storelli for video.
Eugenia Angelini for graphics, logo and flyer.
Obviously Women Thinking and Articolo37 for pursuing this initiative with us.
All persons who have remained in the room until the last…

THANKS!!!
